  • Louis XVI ordered the Estate General to meet, he locked up the site so the people wouldn’t come in.
  • The king locked us out of the meeting!?
  • France needs a new and better government.
  • The people of France then decided to take an oath to never separate to have meeting until there was a good government, this took place at the Royal Tennis Court.
  • We will not leave until the government changes there laws! 
  • On July 14, 1789, the prison on the east side of Paris, France also known as the Bastille was attacked by the people in Paris,France ( the angry mob).
  • citizens of Paris start to shoot at the Bastille, throw arrows because of over priced bread.
  • One rainy day in the Palace of Versailles, Yvelines, France women crowd demanding bread for there families start to run to Versailles in the rain while some men also follow.
  • The kind agreed to give all bread to Versailles.
  • The paper has a list of rights for all people and religion freedom Because of a new government called the National Constituent Assembly for all people in France .
  • On 1789 a human civil rights document was written called The Declaration of the rights of man and citizens.
  • King Louis XVI who died on September 1, 1715 because of being accused of conspiracy which got him executed by the guillotine. Months after his death, his wife Marie Antoinette lost custody over her son and he was forced to accuse her of sexual harassment.
  • Please don't let me suffer for long.
  • On October 14, 1793 she was executed by the guillotine.
  • Robespheirre was supported the Jacobins, and people that disagreed with the Jacobin part would be executed by the guillotine.
  • The reign of Terror was from 1793 to 1794, 2 parts called the Jacobin’s and the Girondins were at war with each otherso one would have the most power.
