  • Whats's that Morris?
  • Oh, nothing just think I should get rid of this

  • The old man got up to open the door for Sergeant Major Morris, who was the one that  introduced the Monkey's paw to the White family.
  • Falling Action 
  • They discover that the Paw could grant three wishes to their family. The White's wish for 200 pounds, to pay off their debt. Their son Herbert didn't believe it would work.  
  • Resolution 
  • As an outcome for receiving the 200 pounds, they lost their son from an accident on the job. 
  • Literary Term - Personification 
  • They leave the Monkey's paw alone till they got their son put away. The mother is in such grief, and just wants her son back. She comes up with an idea to wish for her son back, 
  • As their second wish was granted, Mr. White thought it was wrong and scared. So before they could reunite, he used their last wish to wish him back dead. 
  • Diamonds dancing on me.
