I Have 3 sons and a wife and each one of us needs at least 3 pound of meat. How much meat could each one of us get if we have 45 pounds of meat?
This Deer weighs 45 lbs this will be great to feed my family.
I would set this up as 5 bears/15 lbs of meat = 1 bear/3 lbs of meat and 5 bears/45 lbs of meat = 1 bear/? lbs of meat.
I would solve this by cross multiplying and then divide so 1 times 45 is 45 and then 45 divided by 5 is 9
So each of us gets 9 lbs of meat!!
That deer was very good and we are all very full.
