Jesus was hanging out at the Jewish Festival of Passover, when the lay elders arrested Jesus. They dragged him before Pilate to be tried for blasphemy—for claiming, they said, to be King of the Jews.
Immediately after he was arrested he was sent straight to trial. He was immediately condemned to death and handed to Pilate in the morning.
They nailed him in his hands to the cross and hit him with a whip several times and tortured him because of his beliefs they thought of him as a threat.
After they took him off the cross they put him in a tomb by Joseph of Arimathea. 3 days after Jesus's death he arose. He appeared to the Apostles and spoke of the kingdom of God. To teach the "Good News" that Jesus has died on the Cross and He has saved us from sin.
Jesus went and visited Mary Magdalene and " The other Mary." Jesus said, "Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God." Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: "I have seen the Lord!" And she told them that he had said these things to her.
