His grief so destroyed Micah that he challenged God and wanted to join his family in heaven. God came and spoke to Micah, saying that He too was hurt by the massacre and Micah's family was safe with him. God said to go to the judges and King and make them feel God's wrath and so gave Micah the Spirit of the Lord.
After warning the Commander who destroyed his village, Micah walks to Jerusalem, the capital to talk to the judges (whom he warns of impending doom), and the King. Once In the royal courtroom, Micah confronts the King and High priest about their actions and informs them of the imminent destruction from God.
In a few days, the Philistines captured Moresheth, fulfilling his prophecy. Micah lived out the rest of his days going from town to town preaching the word of God. Micah 6:8 "Live justly, love tenderly, and walk humbly with your God."
