  • The French & Indian War was not a war between the French and Indians but between the French and Indians vs. the English and the Americans. This war was over land and the English claim victory.
  • Boston Tea Party
  • The Sugar Act was a tax on some imports that used sugar. Some colonist were angered by this act but most did not care at all, they simply just ignored it.
  • Intolerable Acts
  • The Stamp Act was a tax on all documents or products that need a stamp or seal of approval(almost everything). This act angered the colonist so they started to boycott and the Sons of Liberty group was made.
  • Battle of Lexington and Concord
  • The Sons of Liberty sneaked on to a british ship and dumped 18,000 pounds of tea leafs into the harbor in a form of protest for the taxes that the british were putting on the colonist.
  • The Intolerable Acts were a form of punishment for the boston tea party. Some of the laws under the intolerable acts are: Quartering Acts, Boston Port Act, Massachusetts Government Act, and Administration of Justice Act.

  • The "Battle" of Lexington and Concord weren't actually battles but technically there were the first fights of the american revolution.
