  • Today my teacher gave us a assignment about sedimentary rocks and how they form.
  • Rocks o the surface of the earth are constantly being broken up by weathering -the effects of freezing and thawing ,plant roots ,acid,and other forces on rock.
  • sedimentary rocks has a process that invovles all weathering 
  • Erosion-the process by which running water,wind,or ice carry away bits of broken up rocks.
  • erosion's happen mostly in lakes or rivers
  • Deposition the process by which sediment settles out of the water or wind carrying it.
  • All these rocks are the effect of a deposition
  • The process that presses sediments together is compaction.
  • all the rocks are tightly compact together.
  • chemical rock forms when mineerals dissolved in a water solution crystalize.
  • chemical rocks form when minerals disolve into water solution and then it crystalizes.
