Since the beginning, the man has always shared a love for animals. He owned a cat, a dog, a few birds, goldfish, a monkey, and a rabbit. He especially loved his cat.
The man began to grow a sense of hatred for the cat, Pluto. He became peevish towards all his animals and even his wife, he mistreated them as to the point Pluto avoided the man.
One night the man came home, drunk and angry at the cat. He was annoyed by how the cat had been avoiding him. Therefore the man grabbed out the pocket knife from his pocket, gripped the cat, and cut out its eye.
He had gone to a bar a couple nights later and while sitting upon a stool he encountered a cat. The cat was very similar to Pluto but had a white patch on its front chest. That very night the cat followed the man home.
As the days past the man, again, grew a hatred towards the cat. As he was going down to the cellar to complete errands with his wife the cat had almost tripped him. The man was angry, he grabbed an axe, about to kill the cat when the wife stopped him. It was an atrocity, he shoveled the axe into his wife, killing her out of anger.
The man was questioned about the disseverance of his wife and became cocky. The police did not know he had buried her into the wall in the cellar until he tapped on the wall and a scream came from within. The police tore down the wall only to find the decaying wife and the cat atop of her head.
