Storyboard Text

  • "And tonight... people get hurt in rumbles, maybe killed. I'm sick of it because it doesn't do any good. You can't win, you know that, don't you?"
  • "You can't win, even if you whip us. You'll still be where you were before--- at the bottom. And we'll still be the lucky ones with all the breaks."
  • "So I'd fight if I thought it'd do any good. I think I'm going to leave town. Take my littleold Mustang and all the dough I can carry and get out."
  • Randy explains to Ponyboy that he is sick of the rumble that's going to happen.
  • I could help you if I could.
  • No you wouldn't. I'm a Soc. You get a little money and the whole world hates you.
  • Randy tells Ponyboy that nothing is going to change if even the greasers won.
  • No, you hate the whole world.
  • Randy tells him that he is going to run away, even if it means being a regular person and leaving the Soes, even if it means to be a chicken.
  • Ponyboy offers to help, but Randy declines it, explains that he has little money and everyone hates greasers.
  • Ponyboy delines and says to Randy that he hates the whole world.
  • Ponyboy left his car and told him he would save the kids from the burning church, then Randy says thanks.
