How Establishing Communities Changed the Lives of Neolithic People by: Jocelyn DeMonaco
In Paleolithic times the communities were small because everyone was on the move looking for food and didn't all shelter together, only in the groups they traveled with.
Living together in a community helped us be more organized because we all divided work up efficiently. Some people would grow crops, build houses, or make tools.
We got extra time to do things on our own like be creative. We would all work together to finish things and get them done for the day and would have extra time, so we could do other activities on our own time.
By establishing communities we could divide the work up evenly so we all would have to work and do it together.
We all could help each other when defending our community so fewer people would be hurt. We also had time to do our own activities and be creative.
