The Queen made up her mind and decided that a divorce was the only option. She went over to the King and told him about her thoughts immediately. Luckily, he agreed to the idea without putting up any type of argument.
I think it is time that we get a divorce. I do not like how you are treating me or my children.
Immediately after the conversation, the Queen hurried around the castle to tell her children the news.
Guys, we are going to be leaving the castle for a very long time. Your father won't be coming with us.
Start packing your things, okay? We will be leaving as quickly as possible.
Wait!! I want to keep Victor!
The Queen and her children all hastily gathered up their belongings and went outside. Just as the family was about to set out, they were approached one last time by the King.
I don't care, I'm still his father! And I won't give you any money if you don't let me have him!
What?! No! I'm not leaving any of them with you!
What do I do? We need the money, but I don't want to lose my son!
Everyone stood in silence for a long moment before Victor decided to speak up.
Victor, are you 100% sure you want to do this?
Oh no you will not!
No, it's okay Mom. I'll be fine.
What?! No! Don't let him take Victor from us!
Bye Victor. I love you so much.
And just like that, it was time for goodbyes. It had been an utterly heartbreaking experience for everyone, except the King. But perhaps the worst part was how after this, the children did not get to see their brother in person ever again.
Bye Mom, bye Sarah, and bye Travis. I'll miss all of you.
