Storyboard Text

  • “I think I might make it in.”
  • “Is my voice that bad?” “Is a high pitched voice bad?”
  •  “I should just quit.” “I hate singing.” “Why won’t this phone break!"
  •  Chantel was filming her audition video to be on a popular show called the Songbirds. She was super confident she thought she would make it into the show. She was so excited she was jumping up and down.
  • “I can’t sing at the assembly.” “Why today?”
  • Chantel’s iPhone was buzzing from comments on Youtube. Chantel read the comments she had some really mean comments. Chantel was really upset. She didn’t want to talk to anyone.
  • “I can’t do this.” “I never want to go sing ever again.”
  • Chantel got a super mean comment saying she should just drop out. So, Chantel threw her microphone, threw her phone, and ripped her posters . and left her music room and attempted to never go in her music room again.
  • “When will I be happy?” “I hate singing.”
  • Chantel went to school the next day and the comments kept building up. She had to sing at an assemble but forgot about it. She looked at more comments and kept thinking she was a terrible singer. When she was getting ready to sing for the assemble she felt like she was going to throw up.
  • Chantel went in the assembly at started to sing but nothing came out. Then, she ran off the stage face red. She cried in the bathroom for hours. When she left the restroom she claimed she was sick and left.
  • As soon as she goes home she runs upstairs. She layed on her bed and cried. She kept reading comments and more comments. She thought all the happiness drained out of the world.
