Siddhartha was raised in wealth and luxury. His father protected him from everything unpleasant. When the prince went out of the palace, guards went in front of him to clear out anything unpleasant.
I have reached enlightenment. I am the Buddha.
Siddhartha went out of the palace without any guards and saw many unpleasant things. He saw a man shrunken by disease. He saw a man who had died, and the family sad. He also saw two other unpleasant things.
Buddhism is the cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
Siddhartha searched for the truth about life, suffering and death. He started to study Hinduism, but that approach did not satisfy him. After, he went to study with Ascetics.
Siddhartha did not like any of the previous methods, so he meditated under a fig tree for 49 days. There, understood the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. He achieved enlightenment and became the Buddha.
Buddha taught Buddhism across India for forty-nine years until he died at the age of eighty.
