Storyboard Text

  • What's wrong Kai?
  • I failed a test on laws  of motion!
  • I can help you study for the retake, if you want.
  • Gee, thanks Tessa, I really appreciate it!
  • Newton's first law is that every object will remain at rest in a straight line unless forced to change its state by the action of another force.
  • Oh I get it now, nothing will move unless something else moves it!
  • The Next Day...
  • Newton's second law of motion states that if a net force acts on an object, it will cause an acceleration of that object.
  • Oh, so that means if something pushes something else the other things speed will increase!
  • Newton's Third Law of Motion: For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action.
  • So that means if you push an object, that object pushes back in the opposite direction equally hard.
  • The Next Day...
  • How did you do on your test, Kai?
  • I aced it, thanks to your help Tessa! And now I have an A in that class!
