Friedrich Von Steuben was a Patriot leader who helped train the soldiers while they were in Valley Forge. He did not speak English so he had to have a translator with him to give orders to the men
Von Stueben trained the men to efficently load, fire, and reload.
Von Stueben also told the men to be clean and he brought sanitation to Valley Forge.
