Principle #1 - Genetic Variation Variation exists in the rabbits because they can be many colors. Some can be tan, white, black, brown, or even spotted.
Principle #2 - Overproduction / Struggle for Survival Overproduction does not occur within rabbits because the environment can handle however many babies rabbits reproduce.
Principle #3 - Differential Survival / Reproduction Since some of the rabbits fur were not suited to the environment around them, they were eaten. However, some of the rabbits fur was adapted to their enviornment and they survived.
Principle #3 - Differential Survival Survival / Reproduction Now the only rabbits that are left in the environment are the darker colored ones because they are better adapted.
Principle #4 - Change in Gene Pool Now most of the rabbits are going to have dark colored fur because of natural selection.
