Book Project for February book in Ms. Mitchell's class
Grownups are always talking about how great life was in "The Good old Days," but I disagree.
Nowadays no one really cares about good education or getting a job. They just want to know what's just been posted on youtube!
Besides, at least today kids don't get spanks from their friends Mom because they stole her silverware and buried it all over their town (long Story).
In the story Diary of a Wimpy Kid Old School, it talks about how all of the grownups in Greg's life always think about how much better life was when THEY were kids, but he disagrees.
My parents are always saying how much they wish our whole family could all live together on some old farm just like they used to in the Good Old Days , but apparently, they haven't met our family...
Greg thinks that life now is way better than it was back then, and he kind of hopes it stays that way.
But throughout the story, Greg does make some pretty good argument statements that make you kind of be thankful that you WERN'T born in "The Good Old Days."
HIS PARENTS ALWAYS TRY TO MAKE LIVING TOGETHER AS A WHOLE FAMILY IN THE GOOD OLD DAYS SOUND REAL GREAT AND ALL BUT GREG PICTURES THINGS A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY...
Eventually, His parents get tired of their kids getting hooked on "Modern Day Technology" and start a petition to ban the whole town from using electronics for a whole day , which obviously doesn't fit in with Greg's schedule!
Despite how much he may hate it , there is still one thing that Greg likes about the Good Old Days...
