The palace if Nonsuch where her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The I Lives. Lady Grace Cavendish was bored. The sun high after breakfast Lady Grace was scribbling away in Daybooke about the events that occurred lately.
Poor Carmina, what Happened?
The Queen, Ambassador and the maids were all in the workroom. Carmina was dozing off in the corner while Mrs Teerlinc showed us her stunning portrait of her Majesty. She is wearing the most beautiful silk gown.
That Orpiment is very Poisonous..
The Scot players were holding a play in the great hall. Mary Shelton & Carmina came, Carmina looking rather ill. Ladies Sarah and Jane came down bickering at each other, Penelope squished between them. After the play there was a lot of crying
Carmina has quite an awful sickness and nobody knows what it is. She is refusing to eat and looks quite pale. occasionally Lady Grace, Mrs Horsely or a nurse would help take care of her. Nonstop throw up is an awful thing to deal with.
Mrs Teerlinc let Grace paint using orpiment, a very poisonous paint that leaves a metallic taste in your mouth. The symptoms are: Sleepiness, dizziness, Throw up, Nausea & cramps. Soon Grace realized these all relate to Carmina! could it be poison?
Grace was put on the job to find the culprit. Even the Queen had her suspicions. Nick Hillard was even found innocent, The players were asked too. It had to be in t=something she ate. Then she caught a box of sweetmeats being given to Carmina that looked off.
