Does anyone have anything nice to say about Erma now that she is gone?
You kids. You make me ashamed.
Is my dad here?
I seen him this morning at the Howdy House.
Erma passed away but Rose Mary thinks she committed suicide. She had already picked out her Funeral home, he dress to be buried in, and her casket.
Is my dad here?
He left her and went to the pub.
When walking home, Rose Mary asked if anyone had anything nice to say about Erma and the only one who said anything was Lori and she said "Ding-dong, the witch is dead." Dad then gets upset and tells them how ashamed they make him.
Mom says you have to come home.
Rose Mary sends Jeannette to go get dad after not seeing him for 4 days. Her first stop was the fancy bar called Junior's and when she walks in, one of the regulars recognizes her and she asks if her dad is there. He tells her no but then tells her that he seen him this morning at the Howdy House.
I'm studying really hard because I want to be a veterinarian or a geologist.
For the daughter of the town drunk, you sure got big plans.
Jeannette went to the Howdy House in search for her dad but he had already left and went to the pub.
Jeannette found her dad at the pub with some other regulars telling them about one of his air force stories. She tells him that he has to go home and he takes a few more shots before stumbling out of the bar. Another man offers to help get him home and they get in a truck.
On the way home, the man asks about school and she tells him her plans for the future and what she wants to become but when she takes offense to what he said she tells him to stop the truck. He convinces her to let him take them home and tells her it was a compliment.
