Storyboard Text

  • We learned about scientific relationships.I didn't really understand.
  • What did you learn about in school yesterday ?
  • There's different relationships like commensalism and mutualism. Let's watch a video about it.
  • Parasitism is when one living thing gets energy from another living thing, does not give anything back, and hurts the thing it's taking from.An example is a flea benefiting by getting food(blood) from a dog.
  • Commensalism is when two living things live together and one gets good things out of it while the other is not hurt by it.An example is when barnacles hang on to a whale
  • Mutualism is when two living things work together and both get good things out of it.
  • Symbiotic is when two living things live together and change how the other one lives. Sometimes it’s good for one and bad for the other. An example is a dog and a human.
