Storyboard Text

  • Habit 2: Beginning with the End in Mind
  • I chose to be here I made this decision. I have chosen the right things in life and it got me to a good school.
  • Habit 3: Put First Things First
  • I put school before my softball practice so before I do any practicing I am going to stay after school and study.
  • Habit 4: Think Win-Win
  • I care about you. I want both of us to win.
  • Good. Both of us winning is better than just one.
  • Begging with the end in mind is a clear picture of what you want to do with your life, think with the end in mind, take charge of your life. We choose our own paths but we do not choose the consequences we get in return. If you go with the flow you will end up where the flow is going and most of the time the flow is down hill into a life of unhappiness. If you write a personal mission statement this will not happen, a personal mission statement is like a blue print of your life.
  • Habit 2: Begging with the End in Mind
  • I want to play college softball when I get older.
  • Put first things first is about learning to prioritize and manage your time so that first things come first and not last. It is important to know that urgent and important things are different. Important things are activities that contribute to your missions and goals in life.  Urgent things are things that have to have immediate attention and have to be taken care of right away.  A prioritizer is a big part of this habit a prioritizer keeps everything together and plans everything beforehand.
  • Habit 3: Put First Things First
  • I have to study for FSA before I can hang out with my friends.
  • Win-win is an attitude toward life, that means I can win and so can you. Also when you think win-win you care about other people and you want them to succeed, but you also care about yourself and want to succeed as well.  It is not a matter of who gets the more amount of something it matters on if there is more than enough for everyone. Thinking win-win is getting along with other people and also it is thinking that evryone is equal.
  • Habit 4: Think Win-Win
  • I have developed this habit throughout this year because I have begun with the end in mind and I know what I want to do when I get older. The path I have chosen for myself is a good one, my friends have impacted me in a good way and made me a good person and who I am today. I have found out what I am good at and know what I want to do when I get older that makes me happy.
  • I have developed this habit over the past year, by saying yes to the more important things and saying no to the less important things.  I have also learned important things are different than urgent things. I have learned to not be a slacker and to study for a test and not look at my notes right before a test.
  • I have had developed the mindset of win-win. I have been thinking that everyone wins instead of just me winning. I have learned not to give in to peer pressure and not to have low expectations and for me to take control of my life and not other people.
  • No low expectations. No falling into peer pressure for anything.
