  • Proactive means you take responsibility for your life. Proactive people say things like ''i can''. Can do people take the initiative to make something happen.
  • Habit 1: be proactive (in action)
  • If i want to get an A in math i'm gonna have to work very hard and learn the steps.
  • You want to have will-power which is ability to say no. The four types of people in this quadrent are the procrastinator, prioratizer, slacker and yes man. You want to be the prioratizer. Urgent things are not always important. A planner or calender can help you.

  • I want to go hang out with my friends but I have to finish my chores first
  • The phase ''think win-win'' means thinking if I can win so can you. One strong emotion stopping you from thinking win-win may be insecurity. There are two habits we call the tumor twins they are competing and comparing you want to avoid these because they might not make you think win-win. Traits of people who don't think win-win is if someone is obsessed with someone else in a negative way, war or revenge.

  • At the beginning of the year I was a very reactive person, now I have learned I need to take the initiative for my life. I have worked on what I say and how I talk so I can talk like a proactive person. I do not feel like everyone is out to get me or that the world is against me. I feel like if i want something i have to work for it.
  • Putting first things first made a big impact on my life. I have learned I need to finish my home work and chores before I go see friends. I have also stared using a calendar and planner to make sure first things come first.
  • I used to think win-lose which is were i'm the one losing. I have helped my self make compromises so me and the other person could both win. I am working on my actions such as being happy for others and complimenting others.
