Storyboard Text

  • Habit 2 - Beginning with the end in mind
  • I'll quit scootering and leave behind the community and move on to other things
  • I'll keep scootering and stay with the great community that has done so much for me
  • Habit 5 - Seek first to understand then to be understood
  • ~~~~~~~~
  • ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  • Habit 7 - Sharpen the saw
  • This is very refreshing
  • To begin with the end in mind is to look for benefits when making a important choice. Do not let others decide for you because you need to make your future not someone else. If you go with the flow then where ever the flow goes (which usually isnt good) you'll end up unhappy in life. "We are free to choose our paths but we can't choose our consequences.
  • Habit 2 - In Action
  • I think its best to stay with scootering since ive gotten so good at it
  • When you understand first you listen and listen only. When you listen you listen with your heart, eyes, and ears. When your listening don't space out,act self centered,be selective, etc because these are forms of poor listening styles. Remember "the deepest need of the human heart is to be understood".
  • Habit 5 - In Action
  • When you sharpen the saw you are balanced and care for your body. Key dimensions are used meditating, relaxing, reading, etc are all ways of being balanced. Those are forms of a balanced happy healthy life. Lastly do not compare yourself, reject your body because of imperfections, and don't loose self confidence.
  • Habit 7 - In Action
  • This Habit has helped me think about making the decision on whether to quit scootering or not because had I been so careless during that situation I would have left a amazing community behind. Its showed me that taking time to make a decision and look at the bigger picture is always the best way to look at things.
  • I've used this habit during times were my friend and I were sad about things and needed to talk. I've used this to hear peoples side of things when my local skate park was gonna possibly shut down.
  • I hope it doesn't close
  • Lastly, I'm unbalanced VERY often and so I've used meditating, exercise, etc to stay balanced. Those methods have helped me during stressful tests, competitions, and mistakes I may have made previously.
