Storyboard Text

  • Habit 1: Be Proactive
  • Just walk away.
  • You're stupid!
  • Habit 4: Think Win-Win
  • We're both winners!
  • Congrats on winning the race! I got second, but I beat my old personal record!
  • Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
  • Meditation and yoga help me relax
  • Being 'proactive' means you think before you act, or react, and you make decisions with a level head. You can't control what happens to you, you can only control how you react. If you are proactive, you can stand apart from yourself and observe your thoughts and actions; you have willpower and you can make decisions for yourself.
  • Habit 1: Be Proactive
  • I'm so sorry...
  • Having a win-win mentality means you believe in not only yourself but others, too. People who think win-win encourage everyone's success, not only their own.
  • Habit 4: Think Win-Win
  • This group project is going to be great!
  • Sharpen the saw means to take time to take of and renew yourself. Remember exercise and sleep  are important for your physical health, and reading and meditation nurture your mental health. It's much harder to stop using addictive substances like drugs or alcohol than it is to never try them in the first place.
  • Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
  • This year i engaged in less fights because i chose to not let people's word hurt me. being proactive has helped me realize nothing anyone can say is worth fighting over. When you're proactive, you win without ever having to fight because the person trying to hurt you can't get what the want from you -- a fight.
  • That's okay!
  • I plan on thinking win-win and encouraging other's successes along with my own. I often encourage other people to  be successful more than myself, but I've realized it's not all-or-nothing. By thinking win-win i will be happier, more successful, and have a stronger support group.
  • Sharpening the saw allows you to take time for yourself and focus inward. By sharpening the saw -- designating time to myself -- I'm better in tune with my emotions and it is easier to step out of my body and be proactive not reactive.
