  • The entry of France and Spain into the war at a crucial moment. The Continental army was running low on food and clothing.
  • I will set 12,000 men here to prepare for battle.
  • Yet no one came to attack.
  • The colonist weren't fighting the British, instead they were fighting against the harsh environment, and they were losing.
  • Luckily their was a hero that had saved Washington and his solders at winter valley. His name was Baron Friedrich von Steuben.
  • The winter Valley proved to be a great trial for Washington and his troops.
