The Lord grows angry with the cruel actions of man kind.
God calls upon one of his followers Noah and tells him he is going to wipe out the beings of earth. He tells Noah to build an arc to save himself, his wife, kids, and his kids wives. He gives very specific instructions on who he shall bring in and how it will be done.
Genesis 6:13 I've decided to put an end to all flesh, for the earth is filled with lawlessness because of them: I am about to destroy them with the earth.
Noah does as God tells him too. He brings everyone and everything that he is supposed to into the arc (a male and female of every creature on earth), and trusts in what the Lord has told him.
On the six hundredth year of Noah's life the flood begin. Eventually there is so much water that the ark begins to float.
On the 150th day of the flood, God blows a wind that removes the flood from the earth. Slowly the waters start decreasing. When the waters become low enough the ark lands on the mountains of Ararat. After Noah tests with his birds to see how low the waters are, on the six hundredth and first year he opened the window of the ark to see that the earth is drying.
Every creeping being leaves the arc in families. Noah builds an Altar for the lord.
