  • We successfully captured Savannah. Long live the King!
  • Finally!! Long live the King!
  • On September 3, 1779, a British lookout reported five French men-of-war approaching Tybee Island.
  • consisting of thirty-three warships and transports carrying more than 4,000 troops
  • Prepare the troops we have much to do, we need to train our defense to block the french's approach. NOW!!
  • In Savannah, the British began work in earnest to improve their defenses.
  •  The British sank six ships in the Savannah river between Savannah and Tybee Roads.
  • In my command... Now!!
  • Despite the French and patriots attempts the British still won.
  • celebratory cannons were fired when the news reached London.
  • I think that this is the greatest event that has happened the whole war
