The men along with the horses and pigs, got on the ship and started their travel to the U.S
We have made it! Everyone can get off the boats and explore!
De Soto tried to gather men to take with him in his journeys to the States.
De Soto stopped to talk the the village owners in every different state.
In 1540, they had to cross over rivers. They built rafts and and bridges to get across.
May 21, 1954
De Soto soon later died because of a fever. He left all 600 men, 220 horses, and 13 pigs wandering.
They arrived at GA, but finding no gold, they continued on his expedition.
The men and animals slowly faded away from eachother and many died soon.
De Soto made it to the different locations and talked to the owners of the village.
De Soto soon died of a fever in Arkansas of 1954.
He left the men and the animals to wonder alone for the rest of the trip.
