It was dawn and Kim was the only one awake in the whole apartment. I picture that it is early Sunday morning ad Kim is sitting in her room alone. So, she goes downstairs to grab a spoon from the kitchen drawer. Then, she walks outside in the misty air and digs a hole. She takes the Lima bean seeds and plants them.
I can't relate to Kim that much because I don't wake up early and I don't like gardening that much either. In the next chapter, I think that something will happen with Kim's father. Like, he ran away and never died and he came back home.
I think Kim is a calm relaxed, chill type of person. She seems pretty quiet. The setting is inside of Kim's house. If it started out differently, Kim would probably be already outside planting the garden.
The obstacle that Kim faces is the death of her father. Its important to Kim that her father notices her because he died 8 months after she was born but she knew he loved farming so she planted the Lima beans for him. The most I like about Kim is how chill she is.
This story is told from 1st person. This makes the story more interesting because Kim does the most action.
Kim is a HUGE benefit to the story because she starts the garden.
