  • Classifcation is actually quite easy Lets start with Triangles
  • Classifying Triangles and Quadrilaterals

  • Triangles are classifyed by the sides and angles the have.

  • By Sides: Isosceles-2 sides congruent, Scalene: no equal sides, and Equilateral: all sides congruent. By Angles: Acute: all angles are under 90 degrees, Right: 1 90 degree angle, and obtuse: 1 angle >90 degrees

  • When identifying quadrilaterals you have to remember the descriptions such as…

  • Square: 4 congruent sides, 4 90 degree angles, and 2sets of parallel side Rectangle:Oppisite sides are equal, 4 90 degree angles and 2sets of parallel sides
