Storyboard Text

  • Principle 1: Genetic Variation
  • Principle 2: Overproduction and the Struggle to Survive
  • Principle 3: Differential Survival and Reproduction Survival of the Fittest
  • The stone fish have different genotype that code for different phenotypes that code for different traits.
  • Principle 4: Change in the Gene Pool
  • There are more offspring that are born than those that can survive. there are too little orange fish and not enough food to survive.
  • Adaptation
  • Organism: stone fish Environment: Coral Reef Trait selected: looking blue bumpy skin  Adaptation - Camouflage and inactive because is born with it and learns as it gets older.
  • The blue fish are able to survive and reproduce by camouflaging in its environment. Only the fittest survive and pass on genes and reproduce to offsprings.
  • Biology
  • Hector Munoz  Period 5
  • The gene pool change over time because the orange can not survive because are not able to camouflage so the blue fish are the fittest and are able to pass on offspring and evolve overtime.
  • Unit: Principles of Natural Selection
