Storyboard Text

  • Soon after Kronos became king, he again threw the Cyclops and Hundred handed ones back into Tartarus. This time Gaea wasn't there to stop his because she was taking a "small" nap, which turns out to be a very long time.
  • Then Kronos married his sister, Rhea and started to live peacefully. But soon he remembered Ouranos's curse. Before dying, Ouranos had told Kronos that someday his own children would destroy him and take over his throne. Kronos tried to ignore his father's words, but the continued to haunt him.
  • Soon Kronos began to have kids. The first kid he had was a baby girl named Hestia. Kronos saw her and realized that she wasn't a Titan. Instead, Hestia turned out to be a god. So Kronos now panicked since everything was happening as Ouranos expected. So he swallowed her. Whole. Rhea was terrified. But she thought the next child would be better. So again the same thing. It happened to Demeter, Hera, Poseidon, and Hades. All of them were swallowed.
  • Rhea then heard a whisper from Gaea to take the next child to the island of Crete. Gaea also said that she will find help there. Then Rhea gave birth to Zeus. There the nymphs took care of Zeus until he was old enough to defeat his father. Rhea the went back to Kronos and showed him a rock. Then Kronos took the rock, thinking that it was Zeus and swallowed him.
  • What Kronos didn't know was that Rhea was making a plan in her head to get her children out of Kronos's stomach. Since the Gods were immortal they continued to grow in his stomach. Rhea's plan was for Zeus to get a job in Kronos's palace and somehow make him get his brothers and sisters out.
  • Once Zeus had found his way into Kronos's palace, he put some herbs in Kronos's wine. Kronos drank the wine and got sick. He then threw up Hera, Demeter, Hestia, Poseidon, and Hades out. Zeus then chopped up Kronos like Kronos did to his father and threw his pieces all in different places on earth. Then Zeus took over the throne and became the lord of the universe.
