- The mountain men were trappers that scammed the west by fur trade, they moved into the Oregon county soon later and traded more there.

- The organ trail was a trip that lasted a while, on this trip people have died, got sick, starved and was dehydrated
- Mormons In Utah
- The manifest destiny was a belief that the united states was destined by god, this belief was around the 1840's.
- California Gold Rush
- The Mexican-american war was a war that lasted from 1846 to 1848, the war was caused by Texas Annexation, this war ended because a treaty was signed on February 2 1848.
- The Mormons was a religion they believed that Jesus died for god, their beliefs are very similar to Christianity but its different because at the time nobody believed what the Christians had to say
- The California gold rush was an event that started by James Marshall, it started when he found flakes of gold in California, when people found out about this they all went and attempted to find gold.
