I think the topic, conflict, and main character are the best. They all talk about how the conflict relates to the theme the best because they all talk about the message unlike the setting even though it really helps the story.
This helps support the theme because it shows in this quote how he was scared because the blossoms were changing. The theme is that change causes fear and he let out a cry which shows his fear.
