  • Dr. King used this quote to show that he knows The Constitution and his rights as an American citizen. The promissory note the architects signed was for all people to be treated equally. 196
  • He uses this quote because most of the crowd knows that these horrors are true, especially those affected by police brutality. And those horrors are still happening today. p.197
