  • Sqounto was born in 1580 to the Patuxet Tribe
  • Thanksgiving
  • When Squanto was 25 he was kidnapped, from his home by Englishman George. Jonh Smith, the founder of Jamestown colony said he was going to take him home to America around 1615. But then he was kidnapped a second time and lerned English
  • Once he came home he hadfound out that his tribed was killed by smallpox. He also found out that the pilgrims started to bulid then homes were his tribe was and he had no were to stay so he helpt them pland and inreturn he was allowed to stay.
  • He is gone 
  • In the fall of 1621, the Wampanoag, the Pilgrims, and Squanto celebrated the peace and Plymouth’s successful harvest with the first Thanksgiving.
  • Squanto’s time in Plymouth turned out to be brief. While guiding William Bradford on an expedition around Cape Cod, the Native American contracted a fever and died.
  • Squanto died in Novemder 30,1622. He died from a fever
