#### Storyboard Text

• Student have you ever heard of a transvers weave?
• NO
• Student plese look up at the board
• The crest is the highest part of the wave and the trought is the lowest part of the wave
• crest
• Trought
• I put were the wavelegth and resting point is located up on the baord
• Well A transverse wave is a moving wave that is made up of oscillations happening perpendicular to the direction of energy transfer. It can also mean that it is a wavethat causes the medium to vibrate amazingly \ at right angles to the direction in which they travel parallel to each other.
• Wavelegth
• Restingpoint
• Student as you could see in the board a tranverse wave is like a wave in the ocen. But a tranverse wave is diffrent. A transverse wave hase a crest, trough, wavelegth, amplitude and a resting poin.
• The red line is restingpoint to crest  Black line is the resting point to trough
• In a transverse wave the crest is the highest part of the wave. The trought is the lowest part of the wave.
• Blue = resting point to trough Amplitude
• Crest
• Resting point
• Plese label everthing
• Wavelegth
• Trought
• Red = crest to resting point  Amplitude
• A transverse wave also has a resting point and a wavelegth. The resting point is the line in the middle and trhe wavelegth can be shown from  crest to crest or trough to trough.
• Another thing I am going to talk about today is the amplitude. The amplitude can be found from the restingpoint to the crest or the restingpoint to the trough
• Know that we are all done and you know were everthing is at do I have any volenteers to come up and label the everthing were it goose
