Principle 2: Overproduction and the struggle to survive
Principle 3: Differential survival and Reproduction (survival of the fittest)
Genetic variation is among this beetles community. Green and brown beetles are shown.
Principle 4: Change in the Gene Pool
Green beetles tend to get eaten by birds which causes them to reproduce less than the brown beetles. The brown beetles have the tendency of surving more because of there color, they are able to camouflage
Organism: Beetles Environment: Beetles are found on land and in fresh water. Trait selected for: Brown color Adaptation: physical (camouflage)
The brown beetles survive and reproduce the most they are able to camouflage in there environment. The green beetles cannot because they are less adapted to there environment . While the brown beetles are more adapted to the environment.

After a while the brown trait will be passed on to the offspring . Which causes the population to have more brown beetles.
