Storyboard Text

  • Prometheus was the son of a Titan. When Zeus fought his father, Cronus, Prometheus fought with the Olympians. He was rewarded by being allowed to live among the Olympians.
  • Prometheus had created man out of clay. It is said he gave man wit to match Zeus. Zeus had hidden fire from man, but Prometheus had managed to steal it.
  • He gave it to man and taught him to use it. Zeus punished Prometheus by chaining him to a rock and sending an eagle to eat his liver.
  • To punish man, Zeus created a woman by the name of Pandora. He made her to be very curious. Zeus had also created a box for Pandora.
  • Pandora carried the box with her everywhere. She desperately wanted to open it. Little did she know that it was filled with all the evil in the world.
  • She gave in and opened the box, releasing things like greed and sickness. The only thing left in the box, after she replaced the lid, was Hope.
