  • Chapter 1
  • Lennie was feeling that George would be better off without him.
  • George, you want I should go away and leave you alone?
  • When I think of a swell time I could have without you, I go nuts. I never get no peace.
  • The next morning the boss came in and was asking question to both George and Lennie.
  • Chapter 2
  • No, 'course i ain't. Why ya think I'm sellin' him out?
  • I said what stake do you got in this guy? You takin' his pay away from him?
  • Chapter 3
  • Get him, Lennie. Don't let him do it.
  • Curly came into the room and has never liked Lennie so he starts punching him, and George wants him to stand up for himself.
  • Make 'um stop, George.
  • Chapter 4
  • George and slim and the other guys went to the bar leaving Lennie all by himself. In his loneliness, Lennie when to crooks's hut to talk to him so he wouldn't be lonely until George cam back.
  • Chapter 5
  • Curly's wife was looking around for curly and came across Lennie. They got to talking and she wanted for Lennie to touch her hair.
