  • When we first arrive on the island, Ralph bullies Piggy for having the nickname, Piggy.

  • Roger was throwing rocks at a littlelun on the beach, but showing restraint. As he was waiting for the punishment from the adult parties. 
  • In these chapters, Jack competes for Ralph's supremacy over the island. 
  • In these chapters it is decided that Jack has become a dictator and frightens his followers into falling in line.

  • The trees! The beast comes from the sea! Out of the dark– pg. 125-6
  • When Roger throws Piggy off the cliff with the rock, it shows how Roger does not care about the consequences anymore. 
  • When Jacks group chases Ralph, it demonstrates how they seek to hunt and kill Ralph just for being different. If that is not an example of bullying, then what is?
