Storyboard Text

  • Now you think that I am a mad man, well mad men know nothing. Every 12:00 I would slowly open the old mans bedroom door until I could fit my head through the opening. I put a lantern in the room that was all closed and and undid one of the hinges slowly so it woulden't creak. I shined the little ray of light on the old mans vulture eye. I did this for and entire week.
  • On the eight night I was more cautious in opening the door. I thought about how powerfull I was as if the old man were my prey, I chuckled. The old man jumped out of bed startled. It was if he heard me, no he must have heard me. He cried out "whos there" in mortal terror.
  • I had waited along while and I still have not heard the old man lay down. I shined in a little ray of the lantern, and it fell upon the ugly eye. His time had come. I leaped into the room. I could hear his heart beating. The old man shrieked once and only once. I dragged him on to the floor and pulled his heavy bed on top of him. I smiled. He was dead.
  • To dispose of the corpse I had brought the dead old man into the bathroom and cut off his head, arms and, legs,
  • Then to hide the body I tore up three of the wooden planks in his bed room on the floor and put all of the pieces his body in the floor. After his body was in the floor I resealed his floor boards so you couldn't see that I had tampered with the floor boards.
  • After I had cleaned up the bathroom and put the old mans bed room back together, there was a knock at the door. It was the police. They said a neighbor had heard a scream. I had nothing to fear the was no evidence.I told them that it was me who had scream in a bad dream and the old man was in the country. I showed them the house, the old mans treasures and even pulled up a couple chairs so they could rest and I put my chair on top of where the old mans body lay. I Heard his heart beating, it was growing louder, louder and louder. I knew they heard it to and they mocked me by laughing. So I screamed "Villains! Disseamble no more, I admit the deed! Tear up the planks! Here, here! It is the beating of hideous heart!".
