Hello, I'm Judge Linda.
That seems reasonable, I guess.
*Sally's detention hearing.* The judge hears Sally's case she is being detained.
*At the formal hearing* Judge: "I have decided that you are guilty because of your unreasonable actions and evidence such as security footage and witnesses."
I don't want to appeal my case, since my mom and dad said there wasn't enough evidence for the case to go on.
*At the second formal hearing and sentencing.* Sally's parents, Sally, the judge, and one witness. Judge: "I think Sally should be put in youth development center for 25 days as a punishment."
All: "Okay." Mom: "Is there anything else we need to do?" Judge: "You can choose to appeal this case. I advise you not to, because there is strong evidence supporting that she did the act."
Sally decides if she wants to appeal her case.
In summary, Sally robbed the store, was detained, and put on trial in juvenile court. She was then decided guilty and assigned a punishment. Sally did not appeal, so she will hopefully do her punishment.
