  • This is our territory! Get out of here, or else!
  • This is not enough land...
  • The French and Indian War was a conflict over territory that lasted from 1754 to 1763.
  • The land to the west was controlled by France, and most of Canada as well.
  • In 1754, the governor if Virginia sent soldiers to kick the France out of Western Pennsylvania, lead by a young colonel named George Washington.
  • HA!!! This is our land, France! Get out of here!
  • The leaders of France and Britain started sending troops and supplies to North America.
  • IN 1758, a politician named William Pitt took over the planning of the war. He sent thousand of additional soldiers to capture the biggest French Settlements in Canada. He increased popular support for the war and Great Britain, too.
  • From 1758 to 1760, the British won victory after victory, which led them to victory after the war.
