Many people gave up on their beliefs of God because he wasn't doing anything to help them. There were no advancements in art, technology, science, or math.
The Renissance was the peak of art, learning, writing, and philosophy and playwriting. It lasts from about 1300 to 1600. The direct result of the Renaissance was the Birth of the Modern world.
Across Europe, Absolute monarchs had all power. Kings made all decisions, passed laws, introduced new government officials and raised taxes. They gained power due to the decline of feudalism and the protestant reformation, and the commercial revolution.
The enlightenment was a movement where math and technology was thriving. They challenged the norms and tested theories.

During the scientific revolution, scientists began to question beliefs and made new theories to what they thought was true. Some famous people that were involved in the scientific revolution were, Galileo Galilei, Issac Newton, and Francis Bacon.
