  • Don't forget your projects are due tomorrow, see you all then!
  • In Mrs. Maya's class she assigned a project on the book 1984. All the students were supposed to read and turn in there project by tonight.
  • To start off, I would say that a man loses his identity while living under a repressive regime. In the story Winston Smith- well there is the bell, catch ya later
  • This is Joe, as you can see he is in a panic. Joe has not started his project yet... Joe hasnt even read the book. Joe is practicaly done for and will mostly get an F on his project.
  • I can help, I'm Skye. In 1984, Smith wrestles with oppression in Oceania, a place where the Party scrutinizes human actions with ever-watchful Big Brother. Defying a ban on individuality, Winston dares to express his thoughts in a diary and pursues a relationship with Julia. These criminal deeds bring Winston into the eye of the opposition, who then must reform the nonconformist.
  • But wait, Joe has an idea, im not sure if its a good or bad one. Judging by the look on his face, im excited to see where this goes.
  • Well to summarize the book I would say that it is a dystopian novella, which follows the life of Winston Smith, a low ranking member of 'the Party', who is frustrated by the omnipresent eyes of the party, and its ominous ruler Big Brother. 'Big Brother' controls every aspect of people's lives.
  • So Joe meets up with his friend Nick in the hallway. They exchange a quick greeting and Joe asks for help on the project. All is going well until they get cut short.
  • As joe walks throughthe hall he begins to ask his classmates about the project. All just push him away except for one.
  • As Joe gets his lunch he can't stop thinking about what she said. He was confused so he decided to ask another friend.
