  • Russia was unprepared for WWI. They were focused on industrialization rather than their military. They were already known for having a poor military. Russia lost about 15% of its population during the War.
  • Russian Civil War 1918-1919
  • Now we have full control
  • Workers began to riot all through Russia. This creates the February Revolution. Because to the revolution, Czar Nicholas sees that he is unwanted and abdicates the throne. The Duma take control.
  • Industrial & Agricultural Reforms of Stalin, 1928
  • Lenin led the Bolsheviks to take control of Russia. They no longer allow people to own private property and they make peace with Germany. This was because Germany had helped them take control of Russia.

  • Power will be mine forever. Nobody can take it from me...
  • There was a Civil War between the Reds and the Whites. The Reds are loyal to the Bolsheviks and Whites are loyal to the Czar. The Reds kill Czar Nicholas II and claim victory over the whites.
  • Lenin dies and Joseph Stalin comes to power. He quickens the process of Industrialization and creates state owned farms.
  • Ugh. This stinks
  • Stalin murders anybody who thinks differently than him and whoever threatens his power.
