Hello, Mr.Yang, I am emailing you to request the month of May off due to a family concern...
This is Sandra, she's getting ready to write an email to her boss about asking for days off, she practices in her head
On her way in she thinks about what not to do, like using abbreviations or starting with "yo"
wow, really hope I don't lose this job for taking off for three weeks
when walking upstairs she reminds herself to use proper nouns and puncuation.
She gives herself on last reminder to not make the email to long and that she should reply by the end of the day
If only I had used appropriate language and checked who I was sending it to.
OH NO... Sandra chose to send her ex an angry, strongly worded email before emailing her boss... if only she had checked who it was sent to first.
DON'T be like Sandra... DO write emails correctly!
This is Sandra as she cries on her porch because she was just fired for not using proper email etiquette
