Storyboard Text

  • The story begins with Odysseus telling his story to the king of Phaeacia   
  • When Odysseus and his crew land on the island of the Cicones, he tells his men to plunder the land.
  • Later on, Odysseus calls to his men to come back to the ship. They become mutinous and refuse to back to the ship.  
  • The Cicones attack Odysseus and crew. They manage to kill 6 of Odysseus's men before they manage to escape.  
  • Nine days go by before they find the land of the Lotus-Eaters. Odysseus sends 2 men and a runner to look for food. They encountered the Lotus-Eaters, who offer them lotus flowers. They eat them and forget about wanting to go home. 
  • Odysseus, caring very much about his men,  had to help them. He himself and a few men drag the others back to the ship.
