Storyboard Text

  • I believe it would be in our best interest to count slaves for taxation purposes, but using them for anything else is just downright ridiculous.
  • Everything you just said I completely disagree with, We should use the slaves for determining the number of representatives should be presented in each state not for the purposes of tax!
  • I would like to propose a compromise, how about out of every 5 slaves we count 3 of them for representation purposeso and for determining taxation for that state.
  • We of Virginia believe that it would be wise to have Two government running house but the representation of each state will be determined by the population of the state.
  • Well we of New Jersey believe having One house in the Legislative branch would be better than having two houses and also we Should give each state equal representation.
  • I propose we have two houses of government instead of one major ruling house we have two main Leading government and these houses should be called the senate and the house of representatives, the senate having an equal amount of people in its house and the house of Representatives having a number of people from each state being proportional to the population of the state.
